關於本活動
According to WHO statistics*, one-third of women in the world experience physical or sexual violence from an intimate partner or sexual violence from a non-partner during their lifetime. Whether in China or overseas, public figures such as business tycoons, traffic icons, and well-known professors frequently broke out sex scandals, and public incidents such as the pandemic and the European Cup have also led to a sharp increase in the number of victims of domestic violence. This constantly reminds us that there are still too many women living in the shadow of violence; due to the particularity of intimate relationships, such violence is more difficult to be detected and interfered with by the outside world.
We have invited three senior social workers who are active in New York, Shanghai and Toronto respectively. They will introduce to you their work in preventing violence in intimate relationships and share their ideas about women’s self-protection. Strategy and resources.
